Read below

Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

From the information you provide it is unclear whether you have been investigated for the causes of the neuropathy and whether you have tried anything else beside the alternative treatments you mention.

Massage is not considered of any benefit for neuropathy, infrared efficacy hasn't been proven either. Some anesthetic creams may help, I do not know if those are included in the ointments you mention, but they are not first line treatment any way. First line treatment to alleviate neuropathy symptoms are either anticonvulsants such as Gabapentin, Pregabalin or antidepressants such as Duloxetin, Venlafaxin. So those should be tried.

Of course apart from such medication to alleviate symptoms the cause should be addressed. Neuropathy can have many different causes such as diabetes, alcoholism, nutritional deficiencies, infections, trauma, endocrine, metabolic etc, so many tests may be necessary to search for the cause, not sure what has been done in your case. At times (around 25% of cases) the cause can't be found, but it should be searched before reaching to that conclusion.

I remain at your disposal for other questions.
