Suggest Treatment For Night Sweats And Shorter Periods

Question: My periods have been getting shorter and shorter with way more PMS. I started having night-sweats in September 2013. I went to the doctor and they said it's endometriosis. But the last 2 months 1-2 weeks prior to my period starting my lymph node on the right side of my groin has started to swell up and about 9 days or so later it goes away. Just a little concerned.

I have no white discharge and it's been 2 months since my lymph nodes in my groin started swelling and going away. I can scan report tomorrow.

Hi,

Thanks for additional details.

Lymph nodes in groin are enlarged during pelvic inflammatory disease ( PID).

Hence PID is a possibility. That is the reason I wish to see ultrasound scan pictures to confirm if this is PID or endometriosis. You can upload the scan report tomorrow.

Shortening of menstrual cycles and hot flushes are indicative of hormonal variations. I suggest get following hormones tested on day 2 of your cycle and send me the report:

FSH, LH, AMH.

These hormonal profiles will give us more idea about your egg reserve and possible reasons for short cycles with hot flushes.

These are all of the reports. I feel like something is just not right. My symptoms are getting worse. The night sweats are getting worse i dont have this problem during the day only at night

There is nothing seriously abnormal.

Still I suspect it could be related to PID as mentioned above as it is difficult to diagnose it on scan or MRI.

For night sweats, I need to see your hormonal profile as I have mentioned above to rule out any premature ovarian failure.
