Question: Hi. I had a sore throat and runny nose a week ago. Now I have a non productive cough that is worse at night. Occasionally, it will produce clear phlegm. It is pretty fierce, but I don't feel too sick. I gag if I don't blow my nose immediately. There is no fever. There is some wheezing and throat congestion.

Brief Answer:
Respiratory infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I had gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.
This could be respiratory infection. The gag if you dont blow your nose, could be due to post nasal drip.
I recommend the following.
1) A course of antibiotics.
2) Antihistamine like levocetrizine with montelukast.
3) Salbutamol nebulization.
4) Analgesic like tablet paracetamol.
5) Local anesthetic based gargle.

You will be fine.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any questions, I am happy to help.
Wish you a good health and speedy recovery.
