Brief Answer:
No worries, supportive care with painkillers and massage

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and understand your concern. Toe numbness and soreness for a day with no history of trauma etc is likely a pinched nerve common in old age and posture related nerve compressions are commonest cause. Foot bones are small bones and these can easily get sore in old age. All you need is some painkillers, some foot massage and keeping the foot elevated as long as possible. A rest for a few days would be wise.

If the toe changes color or swells or the pain does not respond to conservative home remedies then visit the doctor. I am sure it wont come to that. I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and don't forget to close the discussion please.

Khan
