                                            Question : Hello Doctor,
About 1 week ago, when I woke up, i felt numbness in a part of my hand, about an inch in diameter in between the knuckles, and it hurts in certain movements, it feels if I'm stretching and tearing the skin inside, in that certain spot, I've had numbness before in both hands, but never the pain, I sleep with my feet elevated, due to feet and lower leg swelling, but that is completely gone, I drink more water now, but I drink sometimes too much, I was told I am borderline diabetic and I have high blood pressure, and I jog on weekends

It can be diabetic neuropathy

I have studied your case and I think that numbness and Parasthesia in the hand is due to nerve damage secondary to Diabetes. This is called Diabetic neuropathy. I have following suggestions to you.

2. Tablet Methylcobal daily .
3. Tablet Pregabalin one daily.
These two medicines helps in fast relief and prevent any further progression of this problem. Your feet swelling will also improve if your sugar is under control.
I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.

I have doctors appointment in two weeks, what home remedies will help my hand?
My feet and legs no longer swell, ever since I sleep with them elevated.
Anything I can eat, or take naturally, to help lower my blood pressure?
I don't want to visit the doctor with a highly elevated pressure, I know stop drinking, anything besides that?
Thank you doctor for your patience, I know this is how you get paid, so i will close this after your response.

For high blood pressure, you should avoid excess salt in diet. Drink lot of water . Avoid smoke and alcohol.
Hand numbness needs vitamin B 12. It is present in legumes like peas, ground nut. Some pharmacies dispense vitamin b12 over the counter. You can check with your pharmacist if you wish for it.
Make sure you have avoid high calorie diet which can affect blood sugar control. Need to see doctor at least once and start medicines which I told you.
Thanks
