Repeated invasive useless thoughts, despite best efforts to avoid them are called Obsessions. It produces anxiety and functional disability so one may develop certain strategies to get rid of such thoughts which produce relief for some time. These are compulsions. For example, despite washing hands, one may think that something might be sticking to hands. Despite knowing fully well that this thought is incorrect , it produces anxiety so the hands are washed again. Similarly., Useless thoughts coming to mind, despite the knowledge that these are useless and effort to get rid of them, they invade the brain. This is OCD. It is due to deficiency of Serotonin . It is treated by medicines called SSRI or SNRI and CBT. The earlier treatment is started, better the outcome is.

Brief Answer:
Get a detailed examination done

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Medicines should not be obtained online. You should consult a psychiatrist, get a detailed examination done and get medicines. There are medical and psychiatric problems that may be hidden so detailed examination is needed. Brisk walking in morning can be helpful.
