Question: I am constantly waking during the night, numb on my arms, face, scalp, legs etc...I am not breathing, and actually have to tell myself to breath. I can be sleeping on either side, belly or back. This has been going on for 3 weeks. I am 55, 68", 150 lbs, and do a lot of excercises- biking, water skiing, etc. I am retired- I have nothing to worry about! I wear a mouthguard for obstructive sleep apnea- it has worked for 3-4 years.

Brief Answer:
Get done sleep study, ecg, 2d echo.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
You are having obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and having all symptoms at night only.
So possibility of
1. Worsening of underlying OSA.
2. Heart related complications of OSA.
So better to get done repeat sleep study, ecg and 2d echo to rule out above mentioned possibilities.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
