Question : Good morning, I normally take 100 mg HYZAAR (Losartan plus HCTZ) and 5 mg of Amlodopine. This sounds bad- but I may have taken more of the Amlodopine (another 5 mg) or maybe another 100mg HYZAAR then I should- it was in my pocket- What would be the symptoms that I should look out for and what do I need to do?

                                    Brief Answer:
Keep monitoring your blood pressure...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
First relax. Nothing seriously bad will happen to you.
Second, monitor your blood pressure. The symptoms you might experience include:
- feeling dizzy
- nausea
- fatigue/fainting
- sweating
If the signs will show or the blood pressure will get too low (less than 100/50), then, can take a coffee and will be back to normal again.
However, you should wait and keep monitoring your blood pressure.
Hope it helped! Do not hesitate to contact me back if you have further queries!
