Brief answer....given below
Detailed answer....
Hello,
Acute aspirin overdosage is very dangerous and has considerable morbidly and death, however that dose is 150 mg per kg of body weight and above..Since your friend has consumed only 25 tablets of 81mg aspirin, the chances of any acute poisioning appears very less. She may develop some nausea, vomiting, upper abdominal pain with this dose.
In case she develops ringing in ears, hyperventilation, racing heart, confusion, then she ought to be taken to ER,however the chances for such an event appears remote.
You can give her plenty of fluids and can give activated charcoal, which adsorbs the aspirin.
Just wait and watch and keep monitoring her.Hopefullt nothing should happen to her.
In case, she does develop some of the symptoms,as mentioned above, don't hesitate in taking her to ER.
I hope it helps, however you may revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks
