Question : I have been experiencing pain and bloating under my left rib cage and lower abdomen. I also have constant bowel movements and gas but it is not diarrhea.

Hello and thanks for your question. It sounds from your description that you may have gastritis or a stomach infection. Has your doctor tested you for Helicobacter pylori? If not that would be a good thing to do. How long have you had these symptoms? Food poisoning should resolve in a few days. I would also suggest that you get rid of all dairy in your diet as you may have developed lactose intolerance. Adding a probiotic may be helpful to restore the normal bacteria to your intestinal tract. I hope you get some answers and relief soon.
