Detailed Answer:
Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney.
I understand your concern. ़
See, we should not ignore this. This might be a warning sign specially with advancing age.
I would advise you to get work up done for following issues that might cause this:
1. Stone in Urinary Tract.
2. Prostate issues.
3. Urine Infection.
I advise you following workup :
1. Urine routine and microscopy
2. Urine Culture and sensitivity.
3. Ultrasound Abdomen with Kidney and Bladder and Prostate.
I do understand that you are having occasionally these episodes. But my concern is that if not trauma induced, even a single episode is significant.
If you have any further query please ask me.
Stay Healthy.

Had all these test four years ago, with good results, when this first occurred. How long are these test good for.
Brief Answer:
Repeat them.
Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir
There is no criteria of validity if these tests. However , I am more concerned for prostate issues at your age.
It has been four years. So in any case, your tests are not valid now.
So, it would be better to get them repeated.
It's always better to be sure.
