Brief Answer:
Possibility of muscular spasm

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
You may have muscular spasm of neck.
Is there any history of trauma, lifting heavy objects overhead, fever, headache, vomiting, loss of consciousness, weakness in limbs?
Any history of drug intake?
For muscular spasm you can take pain killers with muscle relaxant like zerodol TH, Myospaz forte, Ezact MR.
Local pain reliever ointment can be used.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
