Brief Answer:
Send me xrays.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have read your query.

Its not true that 80% of patients have pain even after 2 years of replacement.

I want to see xrays of both knees standing in AP and xray of replaced in lateral view in addition, I want to see the present condition of your joint.

Also send me previous xrays, reports, discharge card if you have.

In addition I also advise you to visit a good physiotherapy center for proper quadriceps building etc.

But one thing is definite, that patients who do undergo physiotherapy may have problem like you having.

Till then have tab. aceclofenac 100mg twice a day by prescription of your family doctor.

I hope you got the point.

Thanks,

Thank you. I have scheduled another apt with a different Doctor. I spoke with the Dr. who did the knee scope and tendon repairs in my heel. He is retired military as I am and he recommended a doctor in his practice who is also retired military. I have sent him the xrays and all records from the other Doctor. I will be seeing him next week. I guess I should have known that he would say this considering he didn't want to do it from the beginning. He said I was "Too young to need a replacement." Even though I did 16 years of tap, jazz and ballet, marching band for 6 and 20 years in the Army in a job that had me on maneuvers a lot and running 5 days a week with people taller than my self (I am 5 ft. average height for the guys is at least 57).
