Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns today.
From your notes it appears to be injury to muscle and ligament . It is unlikely to have DVT without any provocation. It is important that you go to emergency and get examined to find out the reason for swelling and pain. If it all, it turns out to be DVT, then you will have to postpone your surgery.
I hope this is helpful. If you have further concerns I will be happy to answer.
Best wishes,
Dr Ramadevi Wani.

Details below.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome back.
The symptoms of DVT are swelling and pain. The region feels warmer than other parts of body.

If there DVT you need to receive treatment first and find out the cause for it.
Surgery with its associated restricted ambulation, itself can trigger DVT in a person prone for it . Hence you need to postpone the surgery.
Best wishes,
Dr Ramadevi Wani.
