Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your concern.
Since you are better with the steps taken by yourself,I think you can simply wait and watch for couple of days more.
Continue taking ibuprofen 400 mg three times a day along with local icing.
Hopefully you should be all right gradually as the swelling goes down.
In case your problem doesn't resolve or worsens, although doesn't appear so,you must consult your doctor in that case.
At the moment just wait and watch and do what you are doing,
I hope it helps, however you are most welcome to revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks

I Cannot take Ibuprofen with 500mg of Etodolac Daily???

Leg is still throbbing in the site of Hit... Swelling has gone down Purple Bruising Down and around ankle some blotchy redness at hit spot Purple bruising surronds ankle Good Sign??
Hello,
It is a normal consequence after such an injury.
Purple bruising is there due to the local internal bleeding which has percolated down also resulting in purple blotchiness.
Nothing to worry.
Bruises would take 2-3 weeks to go away gradually.
Local pain would also settle gradually.
Carry on with your treatment.
Thanks
