Detailed Answer:
Hello Ms XXXXXXX,
How are you? My name is Dr Suresh Raghavaiah. I am a Liver and Pancreas surgeon and I hope to answer your question today.
I am sorry to hear all the health issues you have been having. But before I help you, I do need a little more information.
1. Why did you get your gall bladder out? Were you having pain issues before the operation?
2. What did the blood reports show before the operation?
3. What did the ultrasonography show? Any other imaging studies done?
4. Can you please discuss a little more about the pain you are having? severity? how does eating food affect the pain? what relieves the pain? does the pain stay in the right side of the belly or does it radiate anywhere? Any fever?

Please do get back to me with these so we can discuss how best to proceed.

Hope you start to feel better.

I had my gallbladder out as they found some stones. I was having frequent pain attacks with vomiting. My liver and wbc counts were high. I had ultrasound dobe yesterday. I could give you the contact info and you could have it faxed or get a verbal on it. Lol. Seriously I'm good with that. A couple weekends ago, I had breakfast and about an hour later I was in extreme pain. Went to the emerg and they said my liver counts were high. Booked me for another ERCP. When nothing was found the Dr ordered blood work to see what could be causing it. I'm interested to know what the ultrasound says tho. My abdomen is quiet swollen and it was uncomfortable having the ultrasound. Pain stays in the ruq but the next day my right back area hurts. Morphine kills the pain when the hospital gives it to me.

Brief Answer:
CT Abdomen might be required

Detailed Answer:
Hello Ms XXXXXXX ,
Thank you for getting back to me .
I understand that your gall bladder was removed due to pain associated with the stones. Unfortunately it will not be feasible for me to talk to any of your treating doctors to discuss the reports of your blood tests and ultrasonography.
But since two ERCP s have failed to demonstrate any abnormality in the bile ducts, I would feel that a CT scan of the abdomen is in order to look for other causes leading to pain. I am sure your doctor has ruled out pancreatitis as the cause by blood tests (especially since you say that pain radiates to the back). So unless we can image the abdomen, it is going to be very difficult to pinpoint the cause of your pain.

Hope you will be able to get the reports and find the cause of your pain.
Please do let me know if I can be of further help to you.
