Brief Answer:
Allergy
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query
Swollen and painful lips is almost always due to allergy unless it's from trauma. Here is how you should go about it
1. Try and figure out what might have caused the allergy. It could be anything from a new bed sheet, curtains, pets or something you are mostly sea food
2. Tab avil is a wonderful drug, take it twice daily for 5 days
3. tab acetaminophen three times a day for the pain
4. Please approach a gp soon if it gets worse
I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me
Regards
