                                    Brief Answer:
This is due to acute disc prolapse
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case and I think that this weakness can be due to acute disc prolapse. It can happen due to some sudden movement or fall. As a patient is not having any history of fall, it can be due to very trivial injury which patient may not have noticed. Another possibility it that she may be having a cervical disc in past also, which has increased recently. If you can share me the MRI report, then I can give you a better opinion.
thanks

                                    Brief Answer:
Disc prolapse is cause of the weakness
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied MRI report also. So there are two causes of weakness.
1.There was a lesion on the back side of the canal. It can be an OPLL which causes spinal canal narrowing. And due to disc herniation, there was a severe narrowing of the canal. These two things caused neuro deficit and weakness. Disc herniation was caused by cervical spondylitis.
thanks
