Suggest Treatment For Pain In Abdomen And Ribs

Question: I have a dull, aching pain on the right side of my abdomen under the rib cage. I started noticing it a couple of weeks ago and it seems to be getting worse. It kept me up last night and I found it difficult to get comfortable and sleep.

I am so sorry to hear about this pain. I have reviewed the nature of your pain and its location and this is suggestive of a pain from the gallbladder. This is supported by the fact that the pain is not relieved by pepcid which should have made us thing it was related to the stomach or duodenum. To investigate this, I recommend you start with a simple and friendly test which is able to actually look at the gall bladder and tell whether it has a problem or not. This will be a good start and we will take off from there. For now, try scopolamine for pain relief. Keep me updated~
