Question : hi doc,
my brother has pain in his ear due to a boil which is present since last 7 days.please find attached the pic, can you please suggest medicine/ ointment for the same.

I would advice you oint Metrogly P / Neosporin .

I have read your query , seen the picture and understand your concern.

If I were your treating doctor, I would advice you Combination ointment of metronidazole 1 % & povidone iodine 5 % like oint Metrogly P , Metrokind P or Oint Neosporin twice daily for 7 days .

Your brother will get relief .
