Question : I have this condition in which I have suffered from for years, where I have to wash out my eyes ridiculously vigorously after washing my face as it feels as though I've gotten something in them. If I don't, I have eye pain in my eye and what feels like the very back of the eye (the back of my head). It always feels like i might have accidentally gotten something in them, like lotion or something, but if I don't do this washing ritual, the pain is absolutely unbearable to the point where I think I'm going to be sick. I have no idea what causes this, and it's seriously affecting the quality of my life to the point where I dread shower time. I need some serious help ASAP with this!

You are presenting with classical symptoms of Dry Eye exacerbated by an allergic response.

To control this you have to start on a targeted therapy towards dry eye and allergy.

You have to use a lubricating eye drop at least 6-7 times a day preferably in the gel form. And apply copious amounts when going to bed.

Next you have to use an ophthalmic preparation / Eye drop of Olopatadine. Twice daily for at least a week.

You have to avoid prolonged looking at computer XXXXXXX and TV screens.Avoid staying in Air condiotned rooms for long.
