Question : Hi Doctor,

Sometimes (once in a week or two) I feel pain in my groin. This is not during sex. I am not sure if this is something serious and may cause some other problems in future. Any ideas ?

Brief Answer:
nothing serious likely, provide more details

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

Thanks for writing to us.

Pain in groin is mostly due to muscular pain in most of the cases. If it relieves on its own or with pain killer medicines it is likely muscular pain.

Let me know more information:

- Since when are you suffering from this? How did it begin?

- When and in which position does it occur?

- How is the severity, bearable or not?

- How does it stop, on its own or with medicine?

- Are you involve in any sports activity or do you do exercise regularly?

I will be happy to help further after your response.

Regards,
Dr.Chintan Solanki.
