Question : I have acute pain in both hips with the inability to walk too far or push any thing. When I try to, I can barely move my legs and I get extremely fatiqued and short of breath. Even taking a shower takes my energy out. I don't have weakness anywhere else. I do have Graves disease

There is possibility of hip arthritis leading to pain.
I will advise you MRI hip for confirming diagnosis.
Another possibility of lumbar canal stenosis leading to bilateral hip pain.
MRI spine will help in diagnosis.
