Question : I have a mark on my L lower leg that just appeared out of nowhere a few months ago. I would like to know what it is and how to treat it. Photos attached. It does it hurt or itch. It is not painful. It is flat, not raised not bumpy. Hair grows in that spot. It hasn't changed shape color or size. Thanks

Brief Answer:
You should test for vasculitis and coagulation

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
This looks to me like subcutaneous hematoma and if there was no trauma then it may indicate vasculitis or coagulation disorders and you should do tests to rule these out first. It is pretty unusual that it doesn't subside after this period. However, there is no sign of some serious sof tissue disease but further tests are required. Wish you good health. Regards
