Suggest Treatment For Pain In Lower Pelvic Area

default
Posted on Wed, 15 Jun 2016
Question: I have a dull achy pain in my lower left pelvic area that comes and goes mainly. Sometimes this dull pain is accompany by left testicle pain same thing a dull achy pain and lower left hip pain. I also have acid reflux and I do smoke and I was drinking 6 beers a day usually 3 times a week. Could this be ibs? Do you think it's something serious? I also have in my stomach area pain that isn't dull more moderate pain that comes and goes. When I burp or have gas in my chest or stomach area I put my hand on my stomach and on my lower left side towards the bottom of my abdomen and I feel the gas goes right to those areas. Can you please leave me detailed feedback. Also, once in awhile I have a dull achy feeling in my lower left back and sometimes the pain is in my hip and testcile area at the same time. I'm worried since I do have mild acid reflux and I been drinking a lot and smoking do you think this can be cancer or a kidney problem? I did quick drinking recently and have noticed I don't have as much gas or bloating as much. I do get nausea sometimes but that can be from me stopping drinking. The main problem I am having is that dull achy pain to the right of my left hip so it's right in my lower pelvic area under my belly bottom to the left of the belly button only on the left side of the pelvic area so that would be right above my left testicle.

Brief Answer:
This sounds like kidney stones.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Welcome to Health Care Magic.
Thanks for the detailed description.
The pain you mention sounds like a pain originating in the Kidney or Ureter. Especially as you mention the association with the testicle pain. I suspect you could be having stones in your Ureter or upper urinary tract. The nausea could also be due to the stones. It is very good that you have stopped drinking. I suggest you try and stop smoking as well.
Is there any burning when you pass urine or any fever.
Please get a Urine Routine and a culture test done as well as an Ultrasound abdomen and KUB. This will help us know whether there are any stones or any other problem in the abdomen. We can then start the treatment accordingly.
Till then have a lot of fluids by mouth and take Tab Pantoprazole 40mg twice a day empty stomach. This will help your nausea.
Take care and do let me know if there are other queries on this issue.
