Suggest Treatment For Pain In Shin Post Injury

Question: I hit my shin probably three weeks ago plating football and I have a bump on my shin. I can run, walk and more with no pain but usually after 3 weeks this should go away. If I press on it , I have no pain but around it if I press then it hurts. opinion?
