Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.
Hi , I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern.
Harpic acts as a corrosive, so it abrades the mucosa of the oral cavity causing ulcers and pain.
To help you better i need following details:
1. How much time back did this incident took place?
2. How many ulcers do you have?
3. Can you see local abrasions or ulcers? Or it is just that you have burning feel only.
4. What medications you have taken?
5. If possible click and send me photograph of that area.
This is my personal opinion based on details available here. If you still have any other query, you may please ask me and answer these questions preferably in point wise manner.
Stay Healthy.

Dear Friend.
In such conditions I advice following:
1. To apply Konacort ointment locally over the ulcers twice a day for a week.
2. To take a Zinc containing supplement like Zevit once a day.
3. To do betadine mouth wash and gargles thrice a day.
It is very unlikely that such small garlic ingestion would cause damage to your teeth roots.
It is possible that your sensitivity is a different issue. For that you are already seeing a dentist.
Follow these advice. I am hopeful that the ulcers would get better by this treatment.
If you have any further query please ask me.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
It is unlikely that you have developed tooth infection following ingestion of Harpic cleaner.
In the Xray's i can't appreciate any typical infection. I can just see fillings or RCT done earlier.
If your pain persists go ahead with Root Canal Treatment as advised by your dentist.
Yes, you would get these gargles at any good leading medical store of any city.
If you have any further query, please ask me, else you may close the discussion and rate it.
Stay Healthy.
