Question : My Wife has pain from the top of her anus. I looked and it looks like a purple lump is next to her anus that is very painful to the touch. What is this condition?

It could be Thrombosed haemorrhoid.

Haemorrhoids are commonly seen as swellings in and around an us.
In few,one of the haemorrhoid will get thrombosed leading to severe pain around the anus.If it is confirmed, it has to be removed surgically.
Please consult your doctor immediately and proceed further.
She should drink plenty of liquids, eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Her stool should be soft
