Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Chest And Upper Left Arm

Question: I have pain in my chest and upper left arm when ever my heart rate increases after I sit down it goes away after a minute or two should I go to emgencecy room tonite or try to see a doctor tomorrow thanks

Thanks for posting your query on HCM.

Any chest pain on the left side radiating to left arm should not be neglected esp in the age group that you are in. Are you also a smoker and do you have ailments like Diabetes and high blood pressure. Because these increase the risk of having a heart disease. Even if answer to my above query is negative, I will suggest that you must visit ER or your cardiologist or PCP for a complete work up.
