Question : hi Doctor, my Mother is suffering from ear pain on her right side ear. when she sleeps on her right side ear pains inside. she is 57yrs old. please suggest any drops for pain.

She is probably having infection of the ear canal. Please tell me is there pain on touching pinna or pressing the tragus?
Any history of diabetes?
Any discharge coming out from the ear?
Any visible swelling in or around the ear?
Any history of trauma?
Follow up with the required information so that I can suggest you better and prescribe you accordingly.

thank you for your swift response. she is not having any discharge or swelling or any trauma. she doesn't have diabetes nor sugar. it is just slight pain.

Hi,
Thanks for the information.

You may put Candibiotic ear drops and Ciprofloxacin ear drops alternatively 4 to 5 times a day. Give tablet Diclofenac plus Serratiopeptidase twice daily and tablet Cefixime 200 twice daily for 5 days.

Keep the ear dry and plug the ear with a cotton plug while taking a bath.

All the medicines I have prescribed will be available by prescription only.
