Question: I HAVE DEVELOPED LEG PAIN IN THE LAST YEAR. BURNING PAIN IN FEET AND LOWER LEGS. DR SAID IT WAS FROM DRINKING RED WINE. IS THAT TRUE XXXXXXX GIRONE

Your doctor could be right. Use of alcohol could give rise to such problems. However, there are other causes like diabetes that need to be ruled out. Long standing diabetes can lead to peripheral neuropathy (which can also occur due to alcohol) and could give rise to the mentioned symptoms. You need to get your fasting blood sugar checked.
