Question : I am having horrible pain in the joints in my toes and in my jaw. My blood pressure is 187/94 pulse 96. I have kidney stones but not active at this time, but at night or anytime I lay down my kidneys pour like I have turned on a faucet. I drench 4 to five pull ups a night because I cannot hold it at all. The doctor has given me pills to slow down the kidneys but nothing helps once I lay down. At this point my nerves are shot. I am a 62 year old white female that works fulltime. I have to have ferritin infusions about 2 times a year, right now ferritin is 47 and hemoglobin is 10.5 but that is normal for me. I do not smoke, no drinking, I weigh 254 lbs am 5'6.

1. Regarding pain in your toes -- was there any trauma ? If not trauma it could be either due to Calcium or Vitamin D deficiency or elevated levels of Uric acid . I advice you to get Serum Calcium , Serum Vitamin D3 ad Serm uric acid tests done .

2. I need to know what exactly you mean by your kidneys pour. Did you mean you pass urine a lot ?

3 . Also your Blood pressure is very high . Your medications for blood pressure has to be increased . Kindly let me know what medications you are taking .

Hope this information was useful to you.

Brief Answer:
Do you still have stone i your kidney?

Detailed Answer:
HI

There are many conditions which can cause this .

Like Diabetes Mellites, Diabetes Insipidus, Low potassium levels , High calcium levels , Kidney stones or other kidney problems.

You mentioned about your kidney stone , do you still have stone in your kidneys in that case your urine problem could be due to Kidney stone only .

But if there are no stones now then I would advice you to get the following tests done and revert back with reports.

Urine routine , Urine Osmolality, 24 hour urinary calcium , 24 hour urinary uric acid, Citrate and oxalate, Serum Potassium , Serum Calcium, Fasting and postprandial blood sugars.

Regards.
