Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Middle Of Rib Cage

Question: I have been having pain in my middle right back at the bottom of my rib cage... sometime's it spreads across my sides to just below my rib cage on the upper right side of my abdomen.. sometimes I can't handle the pain. It doesn't get worse when I move.. its a constant pain sometimes sharp.

Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM.
In my opinion your pain can be due to
1. Pancreatitis
2. Cholecystitis (inflammation of gall bladder)
3. Cholangitis (inflammation of bile duct)
4. Hepatitis
5. Right lower zone pneumonia.
So better to get done ultrasound examination of abdomen and chest x ray to rule out above mentioned causes.

just wanted to add that I have had really bad heartburn for the past 2 weeks as well

Heart burn causes central chest pain or upper epigastric burning type of pain in front , not in back.
So heartburn is mostly not the cause for your symptoms. It is something else.
