Detailed Answer:
Hello again, dear Theresa!

Welcome back on HCM!

I passed carefully through your last prescription and would like to say that this kind of chest pain localized just in one well-defined spot on your arm and pain under the breasts don't seem to be specific for cardiac ischemia. It looks more likely to be of musculoskeletal in origin.

A chronic inflammatory disorder (including costochondritis) or even fibromyalgia could be the reason.

I would like to assure you that nothing dangerous is happening; and besides the unpleasant feelings you are experiencing, no important or life-threatening health issues is hanging out.

So relax and don't worry too much about!

It would be beneficial following a physically active life-style and may be some outdoors activities in order to engage and extent all your body muscles and relax yourself in the nature.

I don't know exactly your body weight but some body weight lowering would be helpful as well in this regard.

Though anti-inflammatory drugs (Naproxen, Ibuprofen, etc.) would relieve your pain, I personally would not be much in favor of them before trying the above mentioned alternatives which have been proven productive in a majority of cases.

If the symptoms persist, then some inflammatory markers and other tests should be done as follows:

- PCR,
- ESR,
- complement titer,
- CPK,
- LDH,
- AST & ALT

Please let me know how things are going on! I remain at your disposal for any further discussions on the matter and would be glad to help you.

Wishing you are having a pleasant weekend!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
