Hernia or hip arthritis

Detailed Answer:
Hi there.

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

Thanks for the query.

Is there any swelling in the groin which increases on coughing?

Does the pain subside on taking rest?

Any pain in the knee?

If there is a groin swelling, if it's possible that it could be an abdominal hernia.

If the pain aggravates on walking and subsides with rest and medication, if could be due to arthritis of the hip. Sometimes this pain can radiate to the knee.

Apply hot water bag to the affected area. Eat plenty of fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables. Drink plenty of water. Obesity must be warded. Kindly get an Xray of both your hips and upload it for my review. You cab take Tablet Paracetamol or Acetaminophen 1000mg twice a day for 10 days. Avoid lifting weights.

Kindly answer my questions for me to be in a better position to help you.

I hope I have answered your query.

I will be available to answer your follow up queries.
