Question : I am still having upper right quadrant pain that goes around into my back. I have diarrhea from 1-5 episodes a day. Sometimes 8-10 episodes. It hurts so bad. It goes numb from the front to the back. Sometimes the numbness goes into my lower abdomen. I wish i would knew what to do.

Brief Answer:
As detailed below.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read the details about your Medical History, Current Medications, Known allergies and the current problem of right upper quadrant pain that goes around into back, diarrhea as explained, bad hurt, goes numb and sometimes into lower abdomen. PCP refused other investigations than U/A (normal) saying CT scan of abdomen was normal last year. She has not given you anything; wants to know what to do...

Your present history is suggestive of the following:
- We should know the reasons of diarrhea, hence stool tests for three consecutive days be done. If infection is found, you need specific antibiotics.
If this does not help, colonoscopy may be needed.
You may ask for a reference for the Gastroenterologist.
- As for the classical pain you have described: This may be due to a problem with the spinal cord, roots, prolapsed disc or fibromyalgia with secondary effects. You need an MRI of the spine for confirming or ''ruling this out'', and an ultrasonography of the abdomen to see for the gall bladder, liver and pancreas, kidneys - again to confirm or rule out.
This way one can get a proper diagnosis.

Since you are already on so many medications and have allergies, your PCP would be worried to add on the medication, which to a certain extent I can understand.

Discuss this with your PCP, get a reference for Gastroenterologist and Neurologist.
You will certainly get a proper diagnosis and a plan for additional treatment or adjustment of the dosages of the medications you already are on.

I hope this answer helps you, please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
