I am sorry that you are in discomfort. At the outset, I shall suggest you to try throat lozenges. There are quite a few brands of throat lozenges. Strepsil is one known widely. Try it. You can also try gargling with XXXXXXX warm water mixed with disprin.

In the meantime, how long have you been troubled with this pain? Are you running fever? Does it hurt to swallow? What other symptoms do you have?
