My dad had hypertension which led to stroke. I don't have a heart problem. I don't feel pains on the right side of my chest but my ribs, my right side of the chest, especially when am breathing... it comes more at night and in the morning.

Brief Answer:
could be muscular spasm v/s pleural involvement

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thank you for getting back. There could be two possibilities. First, muscular spasm. Second, in case of pneumonia complication, there could be involvement of lung pleura that can result in chest pain with breathing. I would suggest you to perform following measures; If condition improves then good and if not then you need to visit hospital and get an appointment for a pulmonoligst:

- Naproxen thrice a day for 3 days
- take hot water in a rubber bottle and place it at the site of pain. it will give soothing effect.
- do not lift heavy weight.
- baseline ECG

> AVOID:
cold water
drinks
oily food

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!
