Question : I am a 42 year old female had pain under left breast felt it slightly cramp up by shoulder blade lasted approximately five minutes should I be concerned about my heart

* As per my clinical experience, there can be various issues apart from heart which can present with shoulder cramp as left lung, pancreas, ovary or other organs giving referred pain.

1. Was this type of pain occurred in past period?
2. Associated with chest pain, heaviness, perspiration?
3. Is there nausea, vomiting?
4. Any relation with food intake or particular activity?
5. Burning in abdomen or chest?

Have not had this pain in the past there is no nausea or vomiting not related to food intake not sure about physical activity No burning in chest or abdomen could this be muscular could it be a spasm just nervous about my heart had full workup in May due to palpatations

* Considering the sole presence of the symptom without any of the other signs, I am sure it is not cardiac origin.

* Possible non specific internal spasm irritating the diaphragm and giving shoulder discomfort.

I would recommend deep breathing exercises for better results and follow up whenever required.
