Question : My mother age 75 has herpes from last 25 days. Visibly her blisters has dried up but having acute pain around the infected area. Any pain relief Medicine ??..

Pain in herpes zoster is a common thing.
It is called as post herpetic neuralgia.
I treat such cases with capsule pregabaline and gabapentene with an analgesic.
This gives good relief within a week.
