Question : i am a healthy 65 yo womennwork as a nurse and does karate 3x week --seeing a chiropracter for 3 weeks -- my symptoms when walking it hurts all the time - most are numbness on my are pain, numbness of total right leg toahip foot --the mri showed several cysts in my lumbar spine and i am waitin for a orthopedic surgean to evaluate whether i need surgery XXXXXXX slate

Hello. I have been through your question and understand your concern.

The symptoms you are experiencing seem related to the MRI findings. Still, in order to say for sure if there is any surgical indication there should be a clear relation between the clinical and radiological features.

You should try at least 6 weeks of analgesics and anti-inflammatory drugs. If the symptoms persist, then you might consider surgery.
