Question : have a cyst or knot under my arm double in size today it is hard and red and hurts

It could be an infective lymph node swelling.

Please see a Doctor who can examine you physically and start requisite antibiotics and antinflammatories.

You should get relieved in 2 to 3 days of treatment but do continue till the Doctor advises at least for 7 days.

Do not worry. It can be treated easily.
