Question : My query to DR XXXXXXX HEIJEBY ONLY.

Sir I am leaving for USA in two days.Yes I hit my book shelf wood and I could feel bump.Its painful.Is this dangerous.Can I fly

Get a CT scan brain

Hi sir,

I understand your concern.

In any case of head injury presenting with pain ,its always safe to have CT scan f the brain to rule out internal brain injury.

This becomes mandate especially when you have a flight travel near by.

Hence I recommend you to have a non contrast CT Brain .

If this comes out normal you need not worry.
