Suggest Treatment For Painful Elbow Post Injury

Question: On Sunday my 6 year old fell off the monkey bars on her arm. Now today she still can't straighten it, she says when she does it really hurts her elbow. She is not in constant pain, only when she tries to straighten it, but has taken to holding it bent in front of her all day.
Will this heal on its own or should I take her in to the doctor?

Brief Answer:
Fall

Detailed Answer:
Hello. I just read through your question.
The injury you are describing is very common in children this age and also treatable. You are describing something called a "nursemaid's elbow". The treatment is a simple maneuver performed by your doctor that takes seconds. Afterwards, the full range of motion returns.
I recommend consulting with your doctor so that this treatment can be done.
