Topical heparin gel
Detailed Answer:
Hello again,
Thank you for the picture.
It seems like you mother has got ecchymosis.
Ecchymosis is a collection of blood underneath skin in subcutaneous tissue due to damage to blood vessels. Ecchymosis can occur spontaneously or can be due to some trauma.
In case of your mother, it seems mostly likely due to trauma.
In old age the skin and blood vessels are thinned out due to ageing. Any external pressure can easily rupture this blood vessels and can lead to ecchymosis.
Usually, ecchymosis will clear on it on in few weeks but still to expedient the process you can apply topical heparin sodium gel thrice day and plenty of moisturiser.
Avoid use of any harsh facewash and soap on face till complete resolution.
Let me know if you require any further assistance from my side.
Thank you
