Question : I have a lump on my jaw bone right under where I had a tooth extracted its sore and painful

This could be a dentigerous cyst formation or an abscess formation at the base of the tooth after extraction due to infection. The pain and soreness is likely because of pus formation. It is suggested that you should meet your dentist soon, get an X-ray done and then opt for daring of abscess and further capping of the socket.
