Question: Hi, I have been dealing with a sciatica nerve down my right leg, i have a pressure point Velcro strap that was giving me relief but i am very active in construction/ renovations and it has my foot numbing and on the inside ankle it burns or stings like it is cut by a razor and bleeding but ankle has no visual bruise or vein.BUT this pain is worse if i don"t have Velcro pressure ball brace on like when i shower and medicate rash it causes. dilation.my dad believes i am describing hip socket damage. tonight while in the shower my limp node in my groin on the same side is enlarged and very painful to touch. Hip problems run in the family and i thought it was my turn to replace mine. will you be able to proscribe antibiotic or pain management. Normally pain threshold is high and work with it. my Loratab was from my dentist for braces

Brief Answer:
Get examined by a neurologist and get investigated

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concern.
The symptoms described by you are of lumbosacral radiculopathy caused by compression of nerve roots in spinal canal area.
The most common cause is disc disease but other causes can cause such presentation.
Mri of lumbar spine is required for diagnosis.
Physiotherapy under guidance should be done to improve the back muscles strength.
Pain killers and muscle relaxant like aceclofenac or diclofenac with tizanidine or thiocholchicoside can be taken for relief for few weeks.
Pain modulator drugs like pregabalin or amitriptyline or gabapentin can be added and increased gradually according to response.
Examination by a neurologist is required.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
