Question: Good Evening - I have what looks like a "skin tag" on the inside of my lower lip, I just noticed it a couple of days ago - it is not sore and does not impede my ability to eat, chew etc. but I know it is there. If I need to have some look at it - what specialist should I call, dentist, oral specialist, dermatologist ?

Brief Answer:
Burns, fungal infection, consult an oral physician

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.
The white tag or pseudo membrane over the lip can be because of either burns following consumption of hot food. The other possible cause can be a fungal infection. Nothing to be panic, you can consult an oral physician/denstist and get it evaluated. Kindly upload the images of the list and white tissue tags, so that I can give you the exact diagnosis and treatment plan.
I hope I have answered your query. If you have any queries reply me back. Take care
