Brief Answer:
Evaluation required for the swelling

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

The swelling in your leg indicates fluid collection manifested as pitting edema by your description. Based on your history of fall/ injury to leg, it can be inflammatory exudate or associated swelling with the injury. You need to get it examined to look for any warmth , tenderness. An ultrasound including Doppler flow study of the affected limb should be done to rule out any clot formation i.e DVT Deep vein thrombosis. Injury and subsequent immobility can lead to an increase in the risk of such a complication. Infectious causes can also be identified and treated accordingly. NSAIDs, muscle relaxants for 2 weeks can be advised if no serious complication is found.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
