Question : Hi,
I have incredibly painful urination. I did a urine test at the clinic and i do not have a bladder infection or a UTI. They put me on an antibiotic anyway just in case and that did not help the problem. A couple months ago i had blood in my urine for weeks, but that is gone now. i also do not have any STD's as i was checked for this already. XXXXXXX Archambault

Brief Answer:
more detailed tests are required

Detailed Answer:
This can be related to upper urinary tract disorders and symptoms may indicate not just UTI or STD but also urinary stones, ureter obstruction, urtehral strictures, kidney issues or bladder disorders. If there is really significant pain or symptoms persist you should do ct urography and cystoscopy to rule out urogenital anomalies, obstructions and urinary stones. Wish you good health. Regards
